Other Questions…

O
  • Wasn’t there another webpage at this same address? What happened to them?

Yes there was. This webpage is ran by the same guys. We simply had a few problems with our servers. Now that the server in question does not exist anymore and we are on a more reliable one we thought : “Why don’t we start anew?” So yeah… This is the new and hopefully improves Press Fire To Start.

  • I have seen this article which is not about games. How can this be possible? Isn’t this page exclusively about video games?

Not anymore. We thought the old format of the page was quite restricting. Now we’re simply writing about stuff we like. Most of this still happens to be about video games, but don’t be alarmed if you suddenly see an article about cooking.

  • What happened to the awesome theme this site previously had? This is boring… Where can I find that that theme?

That awesome monochrome theme was designed by Daniel Zenon Klein. The reason for that theme was our own psychological problems. We just think a green terminal screen is one of the most relaxing things in the world. However, there is a reason why computers do not have that kind of UI anymore. It doesn’t exactly provide an easy reading environment. Many people simply could not read the articles we published. As boring as this new theme is we recognize the fact that it is more functional. Sadly you cannot find the old theme anywhere mostly because the old “theme” wasn’t a theme at all but -as Daniel likes to put it- an ugly hack.

  • Where are all the old articles?

Unfortunately they are lost. At least currently. We’re working on a way to retrieve them and eventually publish them again. We’ll let you know when this happens.
